Nikesh Kooverjee is a veteran journalist operating the South African automotive sphere. He first entered the industry in 2014, right after completing a bachelor's degree in Media and Writing, English Literature, and Film Analysis at the University of Cape Town. Throughout his career, he has contributed to both print and digital automotive content creation for several publications.

CAR MAGAZINE

Journalist

Nikesh's duties while working at CAR consisted of content creation for the monthly magazine and website, video presentation and managing the official social media accounts, namely Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. This role also consisted of:

Writing duties as appointed by the editor. This includes Driving Impressions, Road Tests of specifically assigned cars, and other automotive-related content.
Attending local launches and events in the capacity of CAR.
Compiling daily news stories covering topics related to automotive and motorsport for carmag.co.za including Driving Impressions and other reviews.
Monitoring site traffic and trends via Google Analytics and SEMrush.
Presenting videos for Road Tests, Short Cuts, Comparative Tests, and other automotive-related content.
Providing social media coverage of aforementioned launches and events.
Site management via WordPress CMS. This includes daily planning and scheduling content.
